Certainly is. It's always a treat when winter manages to creep inside of the house and make something like that.
avernus: All boasting and "we're all survivalists" stuff aside, when you get weather like that often, the municipal infrastructure can normally handle it fairly well (although there are car accidents galore the first few days after a fresh snowfall).
