We live in a row house, so our biggest complaint is that the only access to the backyard is through the house. This is a pain when you have to mow the lawn. Also, the front doesn't have a water faucet or electrical outlet outside, so we have to feed from inside. Also, we only have a 60amp service, so no hot tub for us.
We'll address these things eventually, but for now the priority is the backyard. It's a lumpy weedy mess and the back deck is in rough shape. This summer we're going to hire a landscaper to re-sod the backyard and next year we'll do the deck.
Otherwise, we love our house, It's a perfect fit.
What's the worst feature about the worst place you ever lived?
One of my wife's apartments was next to a parking lot for a nightclub. The club emptied out in the middle of the night and all the idiot patrons would hang out there, revving their cars and generally being loud, drunken A-holes. As a bonus, the lot would get noisily snow-plowed at 5am during the winter.
