I don't know about them being the "caviar of the south", but they're pretty darn tasty!!!

My father has been boiling peanuts for as long as I can remember. My father in law does too, for that matter.

Shakran's recipe above is pretty much dead-on as to how they do it. I prefer roasted and salted peanuts in my RC Cola, however!!
