I think you notice it only because it is 11:11, you probably dont even notice when you look at the clock and its 10:59 or 2:17 or 9:34. Why? Because there is nothing interesting about those times. But you will notice 11:11 10:01 12:34, etc
Its like walking down the street, and seeing hundreds of people, probably not even paying attention to any of them. But, if you see a guy with flourescent green pants, a bright yellow shirt and a pink hat, you will remember him.
