Got a few vids from a site in WMV format. When I try open them with Windows Media Player, it does the whole "Let me get you the appropriate codec thing." A codec downloads, and installs, but the video still doesn't work right.

The video is black, but I get all the audio.

Note that every single time I open these files, it fetches that codec again.

Any ideas on what steps I should take?
