We have a horrible time naming pets. Quincy walked around for a few weeks without a name. We got the name from a place we always went to when we dated.
We just got 2 new kittens today too. We named them Penelope the Pirate (she has one black leg and a black patch on her eye) and Zoe the Ninja (she's very stealthy and sneaky). JJ picked penelope because of alliteration and I picked Zoe because I love that name, but would never name my kid that. I have too many other names for that.
Just look for a characteristic or a trait and go with it.
And Fredweena is right Quincy and Moose would automatically make them cool cats. Quincy was orange and white and was the coolest cat. Then you have TFP tribute to beloved pets.
