Deep Fried Eel.
The taste itself wasn't so bad (a bit like regular whitefish) but it was the greasiest thing I've ever eaten and between the tough, inedible skin and the cross shaped spine, the meat was really hard to get to.
What a disappointing and unpleasant eating experience.
