Yeah, some hard drives (Raptors especially) have that icon there even though you're not gonna detach the internal HDD in your PC. It gets really annoying. I'm pretty picky about my taskbar though (I keep it minimalistic).

Plus I just rip a thumb drive out of the PC anyway. If the LED isn't blinking then it's not being used. No reason to click to get it out!!!!
