I'm new to the hardcore metal scene. I've always been a big Pantera fan and have been led into some of this the last year or so. I "discovered" Hatebreed and loved it. then htat led to Sworn Enemy and so on.

And just recently I found some Shai Hulud stuff and like it. And of course I'm downloading alot of the bands metnioned in this post that I've herad of before, but am not really familiar with.
