Are any TFPers coming to the Kentucky Derby this week? Things are really ramping up with events and parties. It's a blast ... like a mini Mardi Gras!
We'll be at the track (Churchill Downs) for:
- Thursday - the Crown Royal Festival in the Field (live bands, horse racing, giant local party). It's a day that many locals are attending to avoid the crowds on Oaks and Derby Days. It's a blast and has become our favorite.
- Friday - The Kentucky Oaks - a full day at races. The featured race is fillies only. The Oaks used to be the local alternative to Derby crowds, but has gained national popularity and is now drawing very large crowds. It's like two full Derby Days!
Derby Day (Sat) we'll be at a local party ... but if you would like info about the KY Derby, just let me know.
It would be cool to meet up at the track. If interested, let's coordinate.
