If you are prone to getting sweaty nadgers you might want some kind of baby powder down there, as hair reduces friction and if theres none left then it can get a bit clammy I suppose.
I've never really talked to other males about this before but personally I shave my sack and shaft and leave everything else trimmed. I usually neaten up the edges as well, it just looks better and is certainly more comfortable provided you are reasonably regular and careful with it.
