In terms of quality, the US hasn't kept up. Sure the Malibu has won a few awards, but if you drive it's European counterpart, say a Citroen C5 or Vauxhall Insignia, there's no competition. Performance, economy, design... Even Ford is better in Europe. I wish I could get a Mondeo over here.
