While you have found an exceptional group of misinformed people to debate with, I promise you you'll find more of the same in Canada. Unless your plan is to move somewhere in the wilderness, barter for goods, hunt for food and not otherwise interact with other people. Idiots are everywhere, and they're involved in politics everywhere. It's kind of part and parcel to democracy.
