it's one of those new-fangled rubber bands that are big enough to go around the whole head. lots of people at my gym wear them. most wal-marts and target stores sell them in the same area as the hair rubber bands. he looks like he has the ends tucked under or something because otherwise they'd be flopping back over the band. or maybe it's just sweat. nice thing is... they come in hair colors, too, sometimes.
