Haven't had cable for 6 months. I'm happy without it. I enjoy listening to the radio.

We've discussed getting cable when college football season starts. It would mean my husband watching football at home rather than at a bar. We figure the monthly bill ($9.99 more/month with our current internet hookup) will be less than the drinks he would purchase in the bar.

We don't have a television. Hubby has a video capture card (I think that's the name?) for his computer that has a cable hook-in-doo-dad. We watched cable TV on his monitor when we lived in CA.
