I try to look at these situations from a statistical standpoint, I'm not going to say it's impossible the the odds against are so mind bogglingly large that I'm not sure of the sorts of numbers that exist in that territory, perhaps they haven't been named yet.

Of course, it's much more likely the girl is being completely honest with her mother about not meeting any fellows there. What 13 year old girl would lie about hooking up with some guy when her mother wasn't around, especially when mom is so cool and level-headed about these things.
