Can you provide the model of the blu ray player?

EDIT -- A bit of Googling tells me that the Panasonic DMP-BD30K Blu-Ray player will only play video in the AVCHD format. The latest version of Nero (v9) can encode video in that format for storage on an SD card. I'll look around and see if I can find a freeware utility to do the same thing.
