The dog that lives with me watches Animal Planet.
When the leopards bring down an antelope,
The dog on my lap.... his breath quickens,
his chin quivers and he huffs a deep noise of knowing.
Vicarious blood lust,
for both of us.
I'm craving some raw venison now,
with a tad of salt, pepper & garlic.
