I'm in the market for a new video camera.
I'm not looking for something professional but I want something that can at least record in 720P and has some type of thread for a lens. I also want something that's fairly impervious to vibrations (CMOS, stay away). I've been a fairly big Sony fan for quite some time, due to their image quality, so I'm probably going to be a bit biased but a fair argument is what it is. I think I'm going to stay under the $500 mark but if you have an example that simply blows away the next best thing for only $100 more, I'll definitely consider it.
