I'm stil not seeing the objection to Polka and Bagpipes. Maybe it's bad really loud and prolonged, but Polka is great to dance to, and I just don't see the problem with bagpipes.
My definition of "too loud" was the time I thought someone on the next street had their music up too loud outside, preventing me from sleeping. I found out the next day that it was a concert at a local university, 4 miles away. That's too loud.
