His Thoughts

He looks over to her and thinks,
“Oh, no. There she goes again.”

All he wishes is to have her look.
Look at him in the eye.

He also wishes to know…
What color her eyes are.

In his dreams, he looks…
Into pools of darkness.

If he could know..
Two things about her.

They would be her name,
And the color of her eyes.

So he would be able to have,
A name to go with her face.
