I was either 17 or 18, it was in the summer after my senior year at HS and I don't remember exactly whether it was before or after my B-Day. It was close, because I remember making a bad joke about it being my present. I had been dating this girl for about 2 years and it hurt her feelings. I felt about 2" tall after I said it.
