i also prefer tool to APC. but then again i prefer tool to just about anything out there these days.
for those of you who missed out on these last few shows, don't worry, i just got an email from the APC mailing list saying they'll be back for a full US tour soon. the tour they're on now is kinda just a mini rehearsal type thing. you figure that the band has been on hiatus for a few years and they have two new members so they need to find their groove in smaller venues i suppose.
