It was not ment as a bash or anything, it was a complete joke actually. I do a lot of Vintage racing and the guys that run the 928, 968 etc cars get soo much crap from the old 911 guys becusae they are so anti water-pumper.
I prefer to look at things from a performance standpoint, liquid cooling is a good thing
The P-car history is a long one and I wish I knew more about it. I biggest demise for the 928 was the fact that the customers didn't like the fact that it was front engine since the 911 had been mid engine since its creation. I don't think that the fact it was liquid cooled had too much to do with it, but I could be wrong about that.
