I got into jamband music years ago, and I think that has conditioned me not to like a lot of other music. I crave long experimental jams and get bored by three minute songs that are played the same way every time. I love going to shows not knowing what to expect. Although the "jamband" scene is pretty limmited, they do encompass a wide variety of styles. Rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, electronic, etc.
