I could see the Lions being .500 this year. The have a very good young quarterback, their defense has been upgraded, they have some decent young receivers, and they have a very good coach which should give them confidence. If someone had said that the Rams and the Patriots would win the Super Bowl the years before they did, both times with unknown qb's, no one would have believed it. Why is it so hard to believe that the Lions will finish 8-8?
