Dave Winfield and Randy Johnson both did it ACCIDENTALLY. I believe it's happened other times during games.
This guy carefully took aim and fired a ball at a living thing. To make matters worse, it was an endangered animal.
It may seem frivolous at first--and yes, it wasn't a baby(as stated earlier)--but imagine if someone did this to your dog or cat.
Of course, it's not as serious as getting drug dealers off the streets or catching murderers, but I somehow doubt that law enforcement is taking many man hours away from those crimes to investigate this.
This type of behavior is wrong. He deserves to be punished.
