nah, i like a lot of rap, underground, mainstream, old, new. it's all good. i admit that the past few years of the major labels have been sort of weak, but things go in cycles and there have been some gems.
some stuff that hasn't been listed:
sage francis, buck 65, slick rick, lord finesse, bdp, epmd, redman, keith murray, de la soul, gravediggaz, prince paul, umc's, 3rd bass, hiero, house of pain, cypress hill, naughty by nature, big l, cage, big daddy kane, y'all so stupid, yaggfu front, two kings in a cypher, main source, ice cube, ice t, fat jon, organized konfusion, frek sho, peanuts and corn, busdriver, dorian three, awol one, illogic... i could go on, but most personal favorites are already listed in other posts, not that i wouldn't disagree with some of what's listed, but to each his/her own.
