Origins: Yes, the University of Toronto does have a Department of Otolaryngology (a medical specialty dealing with the ear, nose, and throat), but they are not conducting a study to establish whether "acts of 'rigorous' fellatio may contribute to pathology of the larynx."
Note that in the photograph, the little slips that interested parties are supposed to tear off the flyer and take with them contain no contact information other than an e-mail address which is not from the University of Toronto, but from a non-existent 'Otolaryngology.MD' domain.
