I've already stated I recognize their influence, that's not the thing- I started this as a thread to get a general idea of where the average TFP'er stood on them, because _I_ happen to dislike their music. Every time I voice my opinion on this, I have people get all kinds of upset with me- "how can you hate the beatles??", "what kind of music do YOU like?" and my favorite, "you're young". This is all bullshit. People get so uptight and almost OFFENDED if I say I don't like them and I think their music sucks.
Perhaps I shouldn't take some people's comments as personal attacks, but you know what? If I feel like it's a personal attack, can it really be ALL in MY head? I'm not trying to cause problems, just curious about people's preferences.
