There are several ways to find out if you're really being followed. There are also several things you can do in such cases...
How to find out:
- 'double back' - Turn back on yourself as if you made a mistake, then turn back on yourself again. If he follows twice it's no coincedence.
- 4 right-hand turns does the same thing but is less accurate in my opinion.
What to do:
- Stop somewhere totally
not where you need to be and leave again. This might tell you if you're being followed, but if the pursuer is not stopping, you will atleast have shown him somebody else's address
- Enter a police station.
BTW: plate numbers are always helpful (try stopping for traffic lights and such to get him close)
