A nameless company in the business of selling re-manufactured palms who had bid against me contacted me and asked if i'd be willing to re-sell it for a profit. They offered 55.00 and i took it, walking away a profit and still on the market for a tungsten T in the below 110.00 area.
I've also got a cracked lcd tungsten C that's i've been fiddling with turning into a lowpower wifi base unit by leaving it on the cradle for max power. If anyone is interested, I'll post about that.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. the overwhellming response seems to be that Palm provides quality replacment parts. Something i take comfort in as a customer. Thanks everyone for responding.
