What is occasional? Don't expect to make good progress if you drink alchohol. Treat your drinking night as your "cheat meal" for the week, and try and muy miller lite, michelob ultra, or one of the other low carb low calorie beers. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you are serious about your health you need to cut out the drinking, or severely limit it.
