Not sure what OS you're using, but if you are on a Linux/X-Windows system, you can use xev. Just type it at the command line, move the mouse to the window.. and type.. you'll get the idea

I'm guessing you'll soon get more posts with Windows/Mac suggestions if you're either of those.
