Most of these posts are contrary to public opinion which says that most people, if given the money, would alter their looks somehow, i.e. love to have some sort of plastic surgery. Generally speaking the risks are minimal compared to the rate of return.

Like anything, people can go overboard and become addicted (we all have seen what this can look like), but generally, it's a great way to instantly increase your self-esteem (providing you go to a qualified, board-certified plastic surgeon with whose work you are familiar or via referral from a satisfied friend or physician).

If all your life the hump on your nose has made you wish you could function with a bag on your head during daylight hours, then the removal of that hump can be very liberating!
