yeah i'd be sure its a hosts file redirection,
itll say something like

1.2.3.4 google.com www.google.com

etc only the 1.2.3.4 will be different.

-- forget this bit

select this
file:///C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

then when it asks, say select program from list
scroll down find notepad and click it, then press OK,
thatll edit the file, then save it

or

click this file:///C:/windows/notepad.exe

then click this file:///C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/

and drag the hosts file onto notepad

hmm doesnt seem to work so well off ie..
