it says that IF TC (trusted computing) becomes a standard part of PC hardware (via it inclusion in cpu chips) then George Orwell's vision of total governmental control (as portrayed in the novel 1984) will become a reality within our lifetimes. that would be really, really bad, but whats worse is that Microsoft could in effect end up BEING the government that controls us.
