yea, i know the feeling.
mine has 3 fans that are not connected to the mobo, but directly to the power supply and they will run even when the pc is in standby.
i'm thinking about investing in one of those fan controllers, but havent bothered to yet.
i shut it down before i go to sleep cuz its a power sucker.
