Clif bars are pretty good, and they're not all pure sugar, so you'll feel fuller and won't crash as quickly. They can be kind of dry, though.
Some of the Balance bars aren't too bad, either (I really like Cookie Dough), but they're higher in saturated fat, and some of them leave an aftertaste.
Of course, after eating so many different protein bars, most of which run the gamut between bad and terrible in terms of taste, my notions may be a little off.
