Well like everyone's saying, have fun and be safe. Oh and if a friend gives you a bunch of extra ammo, make sure to read what shell type it is before firing it... I was skeet shooting and accidentally put a Magnum turkey load shot in. When you don't expect it, it just hurts even more.
I definately agree with taking the hunter safety course. It's free, and it will give you some good info.
