I had these emailed to me, and found them a fascinating reminder of the cultural and health changes that we have made through the ages...

Either nothing at all was advertised for 30 years, or the pictures don't show up.

Those are some pretty crazy advertisements. The jarred tapeworms one really caught me off guard.

I love old ads, even the ones that aren't as comical as these. My office has a ton of old National Geographic dating back to the 1930s. I just like to flip through and look at the old ads. I like those better than the hangy flappy bewbies! ;) |
