shesus 11-25-2006 01:48 PM

I'm grateful to finally be home. The crowds are horrible out there.
Merry fucking Christmas!

Ch'i 11-25-2006 01:51 PM

I'm grateful for "Merry fucking Christmas".

Music, good food and drink and surrounded by the best people in the world sharing smiles, stories and love

shesus 11-29-2006 08:30 AM

Today I am grateful that the 6th graders are much better behaved than last Wednesday! I guess that 8 paragraph essay about why school is important I made them do last week worked.

Lady Sage 12-05-2006 08:07 PM

A fiancee that took fabulous care of me yesterday when I needed him most.

Elphaba 12-05-2006 08:55 PM

I am thankful for a loving fiancee, and the potential for a painfree future for my friend.

mixedmedia 12-06-2006 02:44 AM

I am thankful for a quiet day in the office yesterday in which I was able to do a lot of catching up making today much more smooth rolling. (I hope!)

And chocolate. I am thankful for chocolate. Especially Almond Joys.

Online shopping... today I was able to look around and get information on a new stethoscope that I need to buy, compare information about various different models, and get pricing that will help me find the best deal.

Really it may sound a bit odd to be thankful for an online retail situation, but this is a tool i'll use every day to save lives or help people in trauma and medical emergencies... getting the right information on which kind of tool is best suited for me is really important, as some will not do as good a job as I need them to do.

Also, finding the same item at various prices, the highest and lowest being a full $22 different, helps me save money in addition to not having to drive around trying to find those good deals and product info.

I'm also thankful for my good health, a lot of people around me are sick- but at least i'm well and therefore able to help them out (which I am).

shesus 12-08-2006 03:48 AM

For Friday and that it is a half-day for the students.

And tomorrow I'll be thankful that I don't have to get up at 5:30 to stand in the below zero conditions at 6:20 to catch the bus. :D

For having made progress in cleaning my room and unpacking my things, and for having just enough quarters to do my laundry so that I can wear clean clothes to work tomorrow.

Lady Sage 12-11-2006 07:51 PM

For Pan and our planning a honeymoon... maybe we will even be able to take it with any luck.

spectre 12-11-2006 09:28 PM

Despite it being finals week, it's the last week of the semester and having good friends who gave me a smile during all of the stress of it. :)

abaya 12-11-2006 10:25 PM

The last week of classes for me, too... we're talking, last week EVER... all my PhD course requirements are DONE after this!!! 22 years of being stuck in a classroom are coming to an end!!

And, even better, this is the last week of my long-distance relationship with ktspktsp. Two months after our wedding, we finally get to be together every night, without interruption!!! WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO! I can't wait. :D

My ability to be uber-colorful in my wording for a nastygram that will make abused customers everywhere cheer and the corporate world cringe. Viva le Sage!

....a wife that I can trust whoile-heartedly. My brother-in-law left his wife 3 days before Christmas because he found out she has been cheating on him after 1 year of marriage. His life is in shambles right now.

mixedmedia 12-29-2006 08:10 AM

The penis. Come on ladies, how often do we stop and take a moment to thank the penis? :)

(note: mm got laid last night...and in an hour, she's gonna take a lunch break and go do it again...he came to town early )

Lady Sage 12-31-2006 07:42 AM

After going through 2 weeks if pure hell, I've found out that I have some of the greatest friends anyone could ask for. I'm thankful of being able to spend time with some of them on New Years Eve. Greatest. New Years. Ever.

Lady Sage 01-04-2007 06:20 PM

Cats. Those wonderful creatures that make life seem a little more livable when it seems like it is going straight to hell.

assilem 01-05-2007 03:18 PM

Today I am grateful for the good side of mankind and the generosity that has gotten me through the last couple of weeks.

Making Dean's list, a job I love and a woman that understands and loves me.

mixedmedia 01-18-2007 02:44 AM

Having gotten to bed at 1am instead of 2am....oy vey.

abaya 01-18-2007 06:29 AM

Being contentedly married and cohabiting (at last!) with my husband. :icare: The prospect of an exciting move in the coming months. And having a good length of downtime to recuperate and get balanced again, after a long time of feeling out of whack.

Lady Sage 02-05-2007 05:42 PM

The people I can count on to be there for me when I need them.

pan6467 02-06-2007 10:10 AM

Being me, silly, obscure, abstract, predictable in my unpredictability, smiling cause my soul is and laughing because life is a grand joke and we never find out the punchline until death.... or is it because I am just totally nuts?

Meditrina 02-07-2007 10:18 AM

Today I am grateful for my excessively warm office. Everyone else is wearing sweaters and using heaters at their desk, while I am basking in the sun that comes through the window. :D

snowy 02-07-2007 10:23 AM

Waking up to a repeat of last night's Daily Show with Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs on it for an interview! Yay! I love Mike Rowe.

Angel 02-07-2007 05:25 PM
