I had not heard of anything like this, but KC has a local chapter and I signed up for updates from their yahoo group thingy for events. It seems they are pretty regular occurrences, and I will try it out as soon as I can and report back! I strongly support running and drinking; why wouldn't they be even better together? :)

Yeah, I did some offroad running without shoes once... ended up with a dozen stitches on the sole of my foot. Lesson learned.

The H4 Red Dress Run is this saturday... I'm stoked! already have a red dress from the halloween cross dress run... but going shopping with a girl from the hash tomorrow hopefully I can find something a little slinkier.

I've been to 3 hashes so far with C2H5OH (Columbus "Cowtown with a Hard-on" Hash House Harriers and Harriettes OHio) and haven't been named yet.. though I hear that my naming is in discussion at the moment.

The weekend just past was our Analversary.. and incredibly fun, even though I was sick. I believe 50 people showed up for trail on Saturday, and I got too drunk to make it to circle. ;) Cbus is definitely more of a drinking group than a running group at the moment, though.. heh.

I'm going to add you on hashspace, JStrider... I just joined today, and looked through the Houston group before checking this thread to see if you posted your hash name. :)

i've been to one in Rapid City, South Dakota. great folk, mega friendly, their venues could use some reconsideration though
