Ex wives can't live with'em can't hire a hit man

My ex is the biggest B**** in the entire world. She will do anything to keep me from having contact with my daughter. She recently moved to Texas away from every one she or my daughter knows. Both of our familys live in Missouri. She knows no one in Ft. Worth Texas. My daughter is going to have to spend 50 - 60 hours in daycare a week instead of less than 30 she used too. I used to see her 5 overnights every two weeks and ate lunch with her on 1 other day each week. I saw her other times as well and went to all school and dance programs. Her daycare was only a few blocks from my work and I could drop by and see her. She had both sets of grandparents here and saw them every week. Now I will only see her 9 weeks in the summer and a few other times a year. A profesional councelor recommended against it saying it would be detrimental to my daughter and could affect her development for the rest of her life. Some crazy judge thought this was ok just because she got a better job working 50 hours a week instead of 40. Now she is trying to screw me out of time over the summer. I still have an appeal pending and hope it reverses the order allowing her to move.

The world is a strange cruel place sometimes. I hope your Ex gets what she deserves sooner than later, what goes around comes around. Good luck with this situation.

By the way I have never missed a child support payment and I am always 1/2 month ahead.

JadziaDax 04-24-2003 07:14 PM

Be careful. I have seen judges make horrible decisions based on the fact that they believe that the mother should raise the child no matter what. I'm a woman and I think this is ridiculous. I can name several women I presently know who are INCREDIBLY unfit to raise a child, and I would pray for the man to gain custody.

I wish you the best of luck in this situation. Just remain as calm as you possibly can, and never let her see you sweat. She's probably doing it for some sort of twisted, sick, demented revenge (we can be like that sometimes). Show her you're the better person and all will work out for the best (I hope).

I was remain Calm and never get mad with her. I always try to be the better person. She is a very bitter hatful person. I pray for her all the time. My fear is that my daughter will be that way. I want to teach her that happiness comes from within, not what you can gain from others.

I hope that you succeed. And I wish there were more men like you in this world.

Again, I wish you all the luck with this situation.

yes, as this is in discussion rather than advice, I'll just add the suggestion that anyone who is thinking of getting married should think it over one more time.
of course, my opinion is just that.
but personally, if I could have any influence on anyone contemplating marriage, I would advise against it - and do - in all cases.
thanks.

I know your pain. I haven't seen my 2 kids in almost 2 years. I don't even know where they are now. She can do what she want, however she wants. I on the other hand I still have to pay my child support. If I don't I could go to jail.
The courts are very slanted towards Mothers. She has done nothing but be a bitch since we got divorced and use the kids as a weapon at every turn.

I know Mupwah's ex.......she is an evil nasty person. There aren't many people around that I would claim are evil but she is certainly one of them. Hopefully, a different judge can handle the appeal and see the absurdity that the first judge is allowing.

Staying calm and being a better person is your strength and if this is reflected in court, then things might swing your way.
Iv'e been in a similar position although not as much grief.
I sincerely hope that everything works out for you.
