Avatar Voices

Ok- when you read posts, do you sometimes immagine a voice to go with the avatar- For example, I for some reason "hear" Halx with a voice like vin Diesel, and Giant Hamburger with a kind of Sci Fi overlord voice like the one on powerman 5000's cd. Just wondering if anyone else does this and what kind of voice you equate to who ( or is that whom?)

hmmm...hearing voices in your head?

maybe you should get that looked at. ;)

seriously...I only hear my voice when reading.
It kind of weirds me out when I here their real voice.

I can only hear the hum of my computer's cooling fan.

Hmmmph.

i hear my room mate snoring........

I have my own voice that I use for most of the people here.

I won't get into who sounds like what.

I'm with ya, Fire. When I first got here, I heard Spectre as a deep-voiced guy, like his avatar Juggernaut. Power of suggestion, I guess.

ha, cool concept, i haven't really thought about it before. I don't think i have voices for different poeple, i just read what they say.

just thinking about it kinda freaked me out though ?????

I never really thought about it. What would mine sound like?

vvvrooomm......vvvrooomm......vvvvvrrrrrrrrooooooommmmmmm!!!!....PPPPSSSSTTT! (blow off valve)

Funny, you sound like a damn hawt spy chick.

*snicker*

Thraeryn's makes me shudder.. I hear evil things, like the voice wanting me to set fire to small animals.

When I see motdakasha's, I hear the voice of the character, Harley Quinn. Miss me?

I was thinking the same thing.

I know what you mean. It was a little weird hearing people's voices at the meetup for the first time.

when I see WK's posts, I think of a really hung over anti-social hipster

I have these blue pills that keep me from hearing voices. Do you need to borrow a few?

:D

And you are right in thinking that.

I wish I could have an avatar. If I did, it would be Samus Aran. And my voice would be tough, but sexy. I love being a video game geek. I am the only girl I know that knows who that is, so far.

at the moment i'm ill, all i can hear is myself sniffling :( everyone together "awwwwwwwww poor me!!!"

I never thought of it but I hear myself reading in my head. Nothing else.

When I read on here, all I hear is my voice. However, when I read books, the characters always end up with their own voices.

THen they make a movie and screw it all up...

Normally I hear voices when I read the Literature section, cuz it has more emotion behind it. and yes the avatars have alot to do with it. What does mine suggest I wonder?? hmmm the world may never know, except EV.

laterz

some avatars are easyer to hear than others.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...sorry, for some reason I couldn't resist.

I dont hear avatars voices..but always wondered bout the people behind the avatar...what made them choose that one and their nicks as well. Also, what kind of life they lead..yeah stupid crazy.

I can't believe you've never met another girl who knows that!!
I mean, I know girls who play video games a rare breed, but we're not that rare!

Now, as for the thread... I don't usually hear voices, but I do imagine what the person looks like.

Here's the answer to one of those questions: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...light=nickname

Ok, I wasn't sure if it would be that or Rob Halford.
