if you're willing to walk on your butt juice and other funk that's being rinsed through the shower, why not be wiling to walk on your piss? either way the last thing that's usually going down the drain is soap rinse.....and even if it's not, fock it.

eww, never! okay just once a few years ago, was very hung over and could not bring myself out of the shower to go. never since, i bath my little girl in that tub! ewww!

I make an effort to pee in the shower, much easier than the toilet, much more to aim at...

Never have, never will. I mean, the toilet is right there. I always go beforehand as the water is warming up anyways. And in the 5 minutes that I take my shower, the urge has never struck me. Maybe if I took hour-long showers or something.

Urine (as many many have pointed out) is sterile. There is nothing 'bad' about it running down the drain. Not sure even what grosses people out.

At time of writing this a resounding 80% of respondents urinate in the shower... And I include myself in that majority.

I read somewhere that a significantly larger portion of women pee in the shower. Something outlandish like 2/3's or something as compared to 1/4 of men.

Yep, this is what I do too - if I have to go, I do it before I shampoo my hair so that the soap washes it away. :thumbsup:

I really don't see why people can't see beyond standards of whats wrong and right for such things as where to pee. I don't see any difference, if you pee in the woods, a pond, against a wall (a dirty one) the shower, or even the toilet :rolleyes:

Guess what? in the shower, you're constantly under flowing water which goes down the drain...along with whatever bodily fluids is ejected from your body (how about that bloody chainsaw scene in Scarface?)..
So you're safe...its cleaned off.

do'nt have a problem with it, all the soap and shampoo that gets used cleans as it goes. and urine is sterial and if you had to you could drink it..

Yes, I pee in the shower. I have for quite some time. Strangely I never did when I was little and didn't start until I heard all these people calling into a radio morning show in Portland and talking about it. So I tried it, found it more convenient to my routine, and have been doing it ever since.

Do guys actually say "eww" - I don't know any that do. Or the Jerry Springer "what-everrr".

I am now taking an informal poll of my friends to see who pees in the shower and who doesn't...

Most everyone pees in the shower or has at some point.

Peeing in the shower is okay (provided you're actually TAKING a shower, not just using the tub as a backup toilet) but pinching a loaf is simply unacceptable.

That being said, in boot camp we had a big community shower with about 20 shower heads on it all along 3 walls. One time a guy took a leak in there while it was full and he was viciously harassed for the remainder of the time we were in Great Lakes. I have to admit, when I ran into him in the fleet about 4 years later, my first thought was "it's the shower pisser".

Community showers are a little different than one-head showers. I for one would only care if the guy was doing it near me. Otherwise it wouldn't matter as long as it was washed away by the shower.

My personal shower yes, don't see a big deal with it. Public pools and shower are a no-no.

Urine is anti-septic yes, but that doesn't mean its completely clean. Doctors make people take pee tests to determine if there's anything wrong going on. (it's supposed to be clean with nothing in it, so if there is something, then the person has an infection). So if someone has an infection and goes in a pool traces of the infection go into the pool to.

This is usually negated by the fact that most pools are heavily chlorinated, which kills stuff anyway.

the ocean, yeah, not near the shore tho...if im in deep water ok.
