My dad just saw the commercial last night, and he was like "what the hell are those things, I wouldn't want to eat there if that is how their restaurants are."

I love the ad, it is funny and I find myself singing that bullshit to my friends for laughs. I think their marketing department did a good job.

I'm sick of those commercials, don't understand them, and no one guy who likes them. He's just an acquaintance, not a friend.

I absolutely HATE that commercial! It is the most annoying TV advertisement out there right now in my opinion! It comes on and the channel gets changed or the mute goes on.
But, as said above...it sticks in your head. My SO said I'll remember it BECAUSE I hate it so bad and that is what they want. |
I saw Joel Veitch (the creator) on Headline News talking about this, was a pretty interesting interview, apparently he's getting a lot more offers for jobs because of how widespread the talk is on these commercials. I say good for him :)

i think those commercials are hilarious. if there was a Quizno's around here i'd eat there.

AT first I was like WTF, then I was annoyed, now I am starting to become addicted to gerbil commercials. The commercials are very effective in making you remember Quizno's, but like many other people have said, the commericals don't actually make you desire their product.

I think the ads main focus was to generate excitement and press. Just look at how many people remember this ad and are talking about it.

I have been told these things are "British monkeys". I'm not sure exactly what that means, but the owner told me such. I think they look like a cross between a nuclear potatoe and a hampster.

I personally think its a hilarious ad, but it does seem to have divided people into either "I love it" or "I'll never eat at a quiznos again camps. I think we should do a poll.

The part that makes them look really weird is the human mouth. They've got gums and teeth similiar to a human child.

As an Advertising major let me throw my 2 cents in. The idea is to get you to pay attention to the ad and talk abt it. So the ad was effective. Like the old saying goes there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Am I the only one that wouldn't immediately think that their subs are bad or they have rats running all over the place because of the commercial? You still see pictures of the samiches.. and they look quite good if I dont say so. the rat things just make me laugh and think that the company is pretty easygoing.

I guess it would be kind of weird for people who haven't been to rathergood.com but for those who have, it's hilarous to watch the quizno's ad! The first time I saw it I cracked up laughing, but then again I knew what they were and where they were from....
