Car Accident Photos (post is family/work safe)

Check out the site http://www.car-accidents.com/pages/c...ent_photo.html

If this doesn't make you drive safer, nothing will.

Please note that this is NOT a gore site. Some of the stories are just plain mental, including "I was run over by a cement truck"...

Drive safely out there.

Mr Mephisto

PS - I considered posting this to the Motor forum, but I think the message here is so important that everyone should hear it. Cars are dangerous. Just because YOU are a safe driver doesn't mean that everyone ELSE is one. Be careful out there. And if you don't care for your own safety, think of others (including their families).

damnn... thats the reason im never gonna get in an accident. The site of that makes my cringe... your change of living skims none in that kind of situation...

Your quote made me laugh. I didn't exactly plan my accident, nor do most. :p

... It doesn't get much more real than that.

Since driving a wrecker is part of my night job, I have seen a few wrecks up close and personal. Some were minor, some were serious, and a few were the kind where you can only say 'Jesus H Christ...'.

I haven't been, and don't plan on getting in an accident... although I have had to do a few ditch-dives, and had a small argument with a fence once.... :|

I think one of my ex-girlfriends made this statement, along with "I love my truck, nothing will ruin it!" A month or so later she got hit by a driver who ran a red light, well, the lady ran the light and she didn't have time to stop and she T-boned the lady. They told the police they were doing the speed limit, but knowing her driving habits, and looking at the damage I'd say both were doing 45-50 MPH. My girlfriend's truck spun around three times according to witnesses in the middle of the intersection (whole engine bay was crushed to the cockpit), and the other lady's truck went over a curb, through a fence, and halfway through an apartment complex.

Sorry runawayfetus, but when people say statements like "I'm NEVER going to get into an accident" it just makes me quiver, cause if you're luck is anything like mine you'll get proven wrong in no time at all.

Take a look at this Audi.

Exactly. I never have said I won't get in an accident. I mean I drive safe enough but a few months ago I was getting out of work late and it was icy as in very very very icy. I was driving home and going well under the speed limit. I believe are 30 when I hit a large patch of ice on a off ramp and just kept sliding and sliding and hit a big metal pole.

Cars are big scary things. Unless you are in the back seat of one. muwahahaha

people need to remember they are hurtling down the road at an incredible amount of speed in a mass larger than their own.
