We're having a get together in the Bay Area. We've already had some discussion in the Northern California Forum, but here's the official statement on it in GD.

Overwhelming response I see.

Evidently just extending an open invitation to meet at a particular time and place doesn't work for most people.

More like, it's the popularity of the person creating the thread that determines the response.

Sorry I can't come. Next time I go to the bay area, I'd sure like to meet up with TFPers!

I think a link to the thread with actual activity would be appropriate. Or deleting this one entirely and moving that one here.

Yeah, good idea. I suppose creating the thread first here might have been a better idea, since that other forum is rarely touched upon. Live and learn.
