headache after orgasm?

So lately after the SO and I have sex well more so after I orgasm, I get an immediate headache, it doesn't last but for a half hr or so , but was wondering if any of the other women on here have ever experienced anything like this? It is getting very frustrating as I do enjoy being with my man but the thought of the headache makes me enjoy it less. I haven't been to a doctor yet and I do plan on going and asking but thought I would look around and ask before jumping in to the docs and it being nothing and looking like a idiot. I'm only 30 and have never experienced anything like this before. Thanks in advance for any advice or comments that might help with this.

I get a headache every now and then after and O, but not too often. I normally get them when I haven't had enough sleep or I am stressed. There have been a few times I thought I was starting one before sex and figured and orgasm would help, but instead it only made it worse. Not sure what to suggest but maybe try to start paying attentions to how you are feeling, sleep level, stress level. See if you can narrow the cause down or eliminate things before you see the doctor. That way they will have a better starting point to help you from.

Hope things get better...

perhaps you are becoming a little too dehydrated during the fun before the big O

I experience headaches frequently, but haven't noticed them specifically after an orgasm. I just try to drink as much water as possible during the day to combat this.

thanks .. gonna try and get it narrowed down.. I do not get alot of sleep anymore due to stress, that could be a reason as well. And I have noticed the fluids as well, normally extremely dehydrated afterwards :) ... and most times it's worth it . Just the headaches aren't terrible just a lingering pain and for only a short period of time afterwards so thats what so confusing about them. Nothing I do afterwards but go to sleep helps them. I have done some research on the web and found that low blood pressure can cause it. I've even tried the big O on my own and don't seem to get them that way , but through intercourse and having the O I get them :/. I'm gonna give it a few more tries and see how it goes. Try to pay attention to what I've done before and see if that affects it, also may even start a sex diary, lol But do wanna thank y'all for the advice :) Nice to have a place to come and ask questions, lord knows going to a doctor most times and explaining to them something, they look at you like you've lost your mind and makes you feel like an idiot for even asking.

I get dehydration headaches as well. Like after working outside in the yard on a hot day. I never get the headache WHILE working, just right afterward. Maybe as long as the heart is pumping strongly it keeps the blood vessels from constricting, then when I go indoors and relax, the headache comes.
Might explain why you don't have a headache during sex, but it shows up right afterward.

And dehydration reduces blood volume, which can lower blood pressure.

Vigorous intercourse is a lot more physically demanding and sweat producing/dehydrating. If I'm in the right mood, I can give myself a solo orgasm while hardly moving at all.:)

Dehydration came to my mind first as well.

I get these sometimes, but they don't usually last. I never gave them much thought before, thought they were probably something akin to a 'head rush.'
I have developed low blood pressure so that little bit of info is very interesting...thanks. :-)
